CAUSE
Violation Number Nature of Noncompliance
1. Violation of special condition: The defendant must not incur new

credit charges or open additional lines of credit without the
approval of the probation officer: ‘

During a recent review of Mr. Pratt’s credit report, the probation
officer discovered a new line of credit was opened through Credit
One Bank on January 21, 2024. The account has an outstanding
balance of $1,183. On September 11, 2024, the probation officer
questioned the offender regarding the line of credit, and he admitted
opening the account without prior approval of the probation officer.

2. Violation of special condition: The defendant shall pay
restitution in the amount of $7,833.88, to the fullest extend

feasible. The defendant shall pay in monthly installments of no
less than $100 during a term of probation with the first

installment to be paid within 30 days of the entry of this order,

until the amount has been paid:

Since beginning probation on September 8, 2023, Mr. Pratt has paid
$540 towards the restitution and has a remaining balance of
$7,293.99. Mr. Pratt has failed to make regular restitution payments
as ordered.

CAUSE

Mr. Pratt, through counsel, has agreed to consent to the extension of the term of probation. This
officer believes such an extension will serve as a punitive sanction for the offender’s conduct and help
reiterate the importance of maintaining consistent monthly payments towards the restitution
obligation. The United States Attorney’s Office has also entered Mr. Pratt’s case into the Treasury
Offset Program.

It is noted Mr. Pratt’s current term of probation is scheduled to expire on September 27, 2025. The
probation officer respectfully recommends that Mr. Pratt’s term of probation be extended as noted
above.
