M s.Rendon isnow 32 years oId and hasa release date ofM ay 21,2026.

need a prim ary care provider and the only person atthispointthatcan do thatis
M s.Rendon.The Courthasthe authority to considerthese issuesin determ ining if

exclusive authority to reducethe sentence in thiscaseand m ay rely on these
factorsalone in doing so.H ow ever,there arem ore issuesthatthisCourtcan
considerin conjunctionwith theissuesabovetosupportareduction in sentence.
M s.Rendon also subm itsthatherrehabilitation isa factorthatthisCourt
can and should considerin deciding w hetherornotthere is extraordinary and
compelling reasonstoreducethesentencein thiscase in conjtmction with the
needsofthe children fora prim ary care provider.Astlziscourtisw ellawareM s.
Rendon hasno crim inalhistory priorto the instxntoffense in which she expressed
adeep rem orse forheractions.
In the instantcase,M s.Rendon hasexpressed sincererem orse forher
crim inalconductand the long-reaching effectsthatithad on society during atim e
oftmprecedented hardship.ln herwritten statem entto the Courq M s.Rendon
reqectson how hercovid-relieffraud directly affected stm ggling businessesand
em ployeesby rem oving an opportunity forthem to seek legitim ately needed

Rendon used thisinform ation to prepare an extensive<tthesis''thatexsm inesthe
im pactofCovid-lg and econom icrelieffraud on society.SeeId.atExhibit2,
ImpactofCovid-lg by D anielaRendon.However,them ostsignificantaspectof
M s.Rendon'srehabilitativeeffortsisthe com prehensiveplan thatshe developed to
rem edy the harm shecaused to society.M s.Rendon'sthesis discussesthe plan in

M s.Rendon undertook extensive effortsto atone forhercrim e and has

Bureau ofPrisonsto resentencefederalprisonersunder18 U .S.C.j
3582(c)(1)(A)(i).ThisCourtmay resentence ifa prisoner files a motion
and establishes extraordinary and com pelling reasons fora sentence
reduction.Those extraordinary and com pelling reasons are presenthere.

com passion,she asksthatthe Courtconsiderthe factthatw hen she w as
arrested,she w a& a person w ho m ade irrationaland irresponsible decisions
thatshe deeply regretstoday.She isno longerthatperson.President
Abraham Lincoln oncesaid,'&1Jktzpcalwaysfound thatMercy bearsricher# uits
thanstrictjustice.''M s.RendonisaskingthisCourtforthesamemercy spoke
aboutby PresidentLincoln.Thereisnothing leû to gain by continuing to

Your Compassionate Release/Reduction In Sentence, request dated
Hovember 7, 2023, referenced your motherr your children , the
children's parents, your mothers VISA, your mothers citizenship,
the citizenship of your children, your children's education, and
your husband. Specifically, you state that your mother is
currently caring for your children and that b0th parents are in
the custody of the Bureau of Prisons. You state your mothers
VISA limits her stay until February of 2024 . You state your
mother is a citizen of Spain. You state 50th of your children
were born in the United States of America and are currently
enrolled in school. You state that it is not an option for them
to reside with your mother in Spain. Lastly, you state youp
husband is facing a lesser sentence than yours .
Under the provisions of Title l8, Dnited States Code, Section
3582 (c)(1)(A), and Bureau of Prisons' Program Statement
5050.50, Procedures for Implementation of 18 U.S.C. 55 3582 and
-
4205(g), your request has beep given careful review, which
included updated case summary information . Based upon this
information, your request for a Compassionate Reïease/Reduction
In Sentence (RIS) has been denied.
Currently, you do not meet the çriteria for Compassionate
Release/Rls. The criteria for a RIS request may include nop-
medica1 circumstances-death or incapatication l o f the family
member caregiver . For these requests, lschild'' means a person
under the age of 18 and %'incapacitation'' means the family member
caregiver suffered a severe injury (e.g., auto accident) or
suffers from a severe illness (e.g., cancer) that renders the
caregiver incapable of caring for the child. Currently, you have
not aubmitted any documentation to support these criteria . At
this time, ydur circumstances do not meet the requirements for
consideration .
In compliance with Bureau of Prisons' Program Statement 5050.50,
you may appeal this denial through the Administrative Remedy
