What does the Act do about disaster loans?
Title II of Division A appropriates an additional $20,000,000 to the Disaster Loans Program Account for administrative expenses of the section 7(b) disaster loan program, and provides that for the purposes of section 7(b)(2)(D) of the Small Business Act coronavirus shall be deemed to be a disaster, so that amounts available in the account for the cost of direct loans may be used to make economic injury disaster loans in response to the coronavirus.
What oversight does it require?
Section 505 provides that not later than 60 days after enactment the Comptroller General of the United States shall consult with the Committees on Appropriations of the House and Senate on oversight of activities supported with funds appropriated by the Act.
