ORDER 
 
Counsel for the Defendant, Nikki C. Pierce, has filed a Motion to Withdraw as Attorney 
[Doc. 34] with a Motion for Leave to File Document Under Seal and tendered affidavit supporting the 
withdrawal motion [Docs. 35, 40]. The Motion to Withdraw was set for hearing on Friday, July 24, 
2019, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Defendant, Defendant’s counsel, Nikki C. Pierce, Assistant 
United States Attorney Robert Reeves, and Attorney Douglas Payne. 
Based on information provided in the supporting affidavit as well as testimony during 
the hearing, the Court finds the motion well-taken and the motion to withdraw is GRANTED. 
The Court hereby appoints Mr. Douglas Payne, a member in good standing with the CJA Panel, 
to represent Defendant.
