Dear Judge Block:
During a proceeding held before United States Magistrate Judge Roanne L. Mann
on September 23, 2021, the defendant Charlene Wint pleaded guilty to the sole Count of an
Information, ECF Dkt. No. 9, alleging that in or about and between March 2020 and August
2020, both dates being approximate and inclusive, the defendant, together with others, did
knowingly and intentionally conspire to commit bank and wire fraud, in violation of Title 18,
United States Code, Section 1349. Herein, the government respectfully requests that the Court
accept the defendant’s plea of guilt.
The government encloses a proposed order and provides the Court, under separate
cover, with a transcript of the plea hearing (“Tr. Sept. 23”), at the conclusion of which Judge
Mann recommended that this Court accept the defendant’s guilty plea. See Tr. Sept. 23 at
35:8–-13.
