To whom it may concern,

My name is Lindsey Meddings, | have been a teacher for fifteen years, and | am a wife and mother to
three children. Gary Lomax is my father and | would like to provide the court with my recount of his moral and
ethical character.

It has never been a question in my mind if | could call my Dad and lean on him for support. He has
always been a loving, caring and involved parent in my life and | would not be the person | am today without
the coaching and guidance he has given me as a child and continues to give me as an adult. He has taught
me many things over the years and | know that no matter what struggles | come across, my Dad is only a
phone call away and will drop everything to help when needed.

My Dad has always been an exceptional father to me and my siblings, but now he also plays a huge
role in the lives of my three children. He goes above and beyond to be a positive role model in their lives and a
supportive figure in their accomplishments. He never misses a chance to stand ringside as they show
livestock, show them how to bait their fishing hook, or cheer them on in their extracurricular activities. My two
youngest boys have recently started scouts and they cannot wait to share their experiences with their grandpa,
who is an Eagle Scout. All of my kids are avid 4-H’rs and as soon as their livestock are born they are asking to
facetime Pop-Paw and talk about their baby goats, because they know that their excitement and enthusiasm
will be matched by their grandpa. My children look up to their grandfather and know that he is a constant figure
in their lives that they are able to depend on no matter what.

Additionally, my dad is a primary provider for my mother, who is battling an aggressive progression of
her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. As my mother ages, she struggles to meet her basic needs and abilities to live
without the additional care provided by my dad. He is always there with her to stabilize her as she walks, assist
if she falls, and to help her work through her daily tasks, which prove to become more and more difficult to
complete on her own.

As you can see, Gary is a dependable, selfless, hard working individual who positively impacts the lives
of those around him. He never falters when asked to help provide for his wife, help his children and support his
grandchildren.
