UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA UNITED STATES OF AMERICA : : v. : Case No. 25-cr-00076-JMC : CORTNEY MERRITTS, : : Defendant. : UNOPPOSED MOTION TO CONTINUE FILING DEADLINE The United States of America, by and through its attorney, the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, respectfully submits this Motion to Continue the deadline for the Government to file its Reply to the Defendant’s Opposition (ECF No. 44) to the Government’s Motion to Disclose Tax Return and Tax Return Information (ECF No. 37). The Government filed its Motion on December 2, 2025. Defendant filed his Opposition on December 16, 2025. Under Local Criminal Rule 47, the Government’s Reply is due on December 23, 2025. The AUSA who will brief the Government’s Reply is currently on leave and will not return until December 29, 2025. As such, the Government respectfully requests that it be allowed to file its Reply on or before December 31, 2025. Counsel for Defendant does not oppose this motion.
