MOTION FOR COPY OF DEFENDANT’S STATEMENTS
COMES NOW, BERNARD OKOJIE, Defendant in the above-styled action, and
hereby provides written notice, pursuant to Rule 16(a)(1)(A) of the Federal Rules of
Criminal Procedure, and requests that he be furnished with a copy of any statement made
by him.  If the Defendant’s statement is oral or partially oral, the prosecution shall
furnish, in writing, all relevant and material portions of the Defendant’s statements. 
Failure of the prosecution to comply with this timely written request for a copy of the
Defendant’s statements, whether written or oral, may result in such statements being
excluded and suppressed from the prosecution’s use.  
Further, if the Defendant’s statement is oral, no relevant and material,
incriminating or inculpatory, portion of the statement of the Defendant may be used
against the Defendant unless it has been previously furnished to the Defendant, after a
timely written request has been made by the Defendant.
