UNOPPOSED MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE RESPONSE TO THE 
DEFENDANT’S OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION 
The United States of America hereby files this Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time 
to File a Response to the Defendant Andre Lorquet’s Objections to the Magistrate Judge’s Report 
and Recommendation (the “Defendant’s Objections”) [ECF No. 100].   
1. On December 8, 2023, the Magistrate Judge entered a Report & Recommendation 
Recommending that the Defendant’s Motion to Withdraw Guilty Plea Be Denied [ECF No. 99].  
2. On December 22, 2023, the Defendant timely filed Objections to the 
Report and Recommendation [ECF No. 100].  
3. The Government’s response to the Defendant’s Objections is due Friday, January 
5, 2024.  See Fed. R. Crim. P. 59(b); S.D. Fla. L.R. 4(b) (Magistrate Judge Rules). 
4. The undersigned AUSA will be on annual leave beginning December 23, 2023, and 
will return to the US Attorney’s Office on Monday, January 8, 2024.

5. The Government therefore respectfully requests a one-week extension of time, 
until January 12, 2024, to file its Response to the Defendant’s Objections.  Defense Counsel 
does not object to this motion.
