The defendant has consulted with his attorney concerning his right to a speedy trial in this matter and the potential costs and benefits of continuing the trial a second time. Having been fully apprised of these issues, the defendant hereby waives, for the period set forth below, his right to a speedy trial to enable the Court to continue the case and reschedule trial. Specifically, the Defendant waives his speedy trial rights for the period of from March 10, 2022 through and including June 30, 2022.
