MINUTE TEXT: Oral Due Process Protection Act Given. The government has provided
discovery. The only outstanding discovery are several devices retrieved
from the search of Darrell Thomas' home. The FBI is processing these
devices and the government shall file a status report within 14 days on
when this discovery will be produced. The Court grants Defendants'
motions for extension of time to file pretrial motions and to reschedule the
pretrial conference. Pretrial motions are due on 3/29/2021 and the pretrial
conference is scheduled on April 1, 2021 at 10:00 am. Defendant Gaines'
oral motion for an extension of time to file motions and to reschedule the

pretrial conference is GRANTED and the same dates of the co-defendants'
deadlines apply to Defendant Gaines.
EXCLUDABLE The parties shall have until 03/29/2021 to file any additional motions. This
DELAY: extension is necessary for effective preparation despite diligence. The
delay occasioned by this extension shall be considered a period of
excludable delay pursuant to 18 U.S.C.§3161(h)(7)(A) because the court
found it needed to allow reasonable time for preparation and also found
that the ends of justice served thereby outweigh the interests of the public
and the defendants in a speedy trial.
