  Court calls case. Counsel enter appearances.

  This matter is scheduled for trial beginning Monday, March 22, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

  Court received the government’s amended witness list, defendant’s witness list, and three
  stipulations. Questioning if any of the names should be eliminated in terms of witnesses to be
  presented to the jury. AUSA Reichling advises not.

  Court reviews proper lenders as to the second superseding petition.

  Jury procedure discussion. Court inquiries of the defense as to voir dire proposed questions.
  Defendant’s counsel addresses.

  Counsel for the government advises there are exhibits that can be stipulated to. Defense
  counsel agrees. Parties to confer. Court will revisit at the beginning of trial.

  Court inquired as to any witnesses that are not going to be called at this time. AUSA Reichling
  advised they can eliminate number 20 on the amended list, which is the custodian of records for
  Bank of America. In discusses with defense counsel they have agreed to stipulate to the
  authenticity of Bank of America records.

  Court instructions as to voir dire procedures.

  Court inquires as to estimate of length of trial. From the government’s standpoint at least four to
  five days. Counsel for defendant believes trial to last approximately seven days.

  Jury selection process with COVID procedures in place described by the Court.

  Government inquired as to alternate jurors. Court advises two alternate jurors will be selected.

  Government advises opening to last approximately 30 minutes. Defense counsel also notes
  opening statement to last approximately 30 minutes.

  Counsel for defendant’s seeks clarification of the Court’s Order entered at Doc #101, related to
  the 404b notice. Court acknowledges.

  Trial to begin at 9:00 a.m. The Court to address any further matters with counsel beginning at
  8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021.
