1 Pursuant to Local Rule 83.3(c)(4), undersigned counsel hereby moves to
2 request pro hac vice appearance of Angelica Rankins on behalf of Defendant Bank
3 of America, N.A. in the above-captioned action on the grounds of the following:
4 1. Angelica Rankins is an attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, currently
5 resident in its office in Washington, D.C.
6 2. Ms. Rankins has been a member of good standing in the bar of the
7 Commonwealth of Massachusetts since November 30, 2018 under BBO #703842,
8 and of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts since March 12,
9 2019.
10 3. From 2018 through 2022, Ms. Rankins was based in Goodwin Procter
11 LLP’s office in Boston, Massachusetts.
12 4. In 2022, Ms. Rankins transferred to Goodwin Procter, LLP’s office in
13 Washington, D.C.
14 5. Ms. Rankins submitted her application to the bar of the District of
15 Columbia through the transfer of her Uniform Bar Examination score on October
16 11, 2023. A true and correct copy of the submission record is attached to this
17 motion as Exhibit A. The application is pending.
18 6. Ms. Rankins respectfully requests that this Court grant her application to
19
appear pro hac vice in this case based on her membership in good standing of the
20
bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, BBO #703842. As soon as the bar of
21
the District of Columbia approves her application, Ms. Rankins will promptly
22
inform this Court.

7. There are no disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Rankins in any
24
jurisdiction.
25
8. Ms. Rankins has not previously had pro hac vice admission to the United
26
States District Court for the Southern District of California.
27
9. Ms. Rankins is familiar with the Local Rules of the United States District
28
Court for the Southern District of California.
