ORDER

THIS MATTER having come before the Court upon the Motion for
Extension of Time for Defendant to Obtain New Counsel (ECF No. 81)
and the Amended: Motion for Extension of Time for Defendant to
Obtain New Counsel (ECE No. 82), which incorporates the
Government’s opposition to defendant’s request; and the Court
having read the submissions of counsel and while not having ruled
on said Motions, the Court having received a telephone call from
defendant Eric Rivera shortly before the July 22, 2025 hearing,
indicating that he was not in the New Jersey area, as he believed
his adjournment request was to be granted;

IT IS this 23rd day of July, 2025, hereby ORDERED:

1. In light of the defendant’s verbal representation to the
Court Clerk on July 22, 2025 that he was not physically
located in the State of New Jersey and therefore unable
to attend the July 22, 2025 hearing, and the Court Clerk

having verbally informed the defendant of the Court’s

decision that the hearing would be continued to
August il, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., the Court hereby
reschedules the hearing to August 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

On or before August 11, 2025, substitute counsel for
defendant shall enter an appearance in this case; and

A hearing to set a trial date is scheduled for August ll,
2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 4A. All parties are
required to appear,
