COMES NOW NICHOLAS ZOTTI, U.S. PRETRIAL SERVICES OFFICER, presenting an
official report upon the conduct of defendant, ERIC RIVERA, who was placed under pretrial release
supervision by the HONORABLE REGINA D. CANNON, UNITED STATES MAGISTRATE
JUDGE sitting in the Court m ATLANTA, GEORGIA, on July 18, 2023, under the following
conditions:

Report to United States Probation Office as directed.

Continue or actively seek employment.

Surrender any passports or travel documents within 24 hours and do not obtain a new passport.

No contact with victims or witnesses

Shall not possess a firearm or other destructive device.

Shall not use alcohol excessively.

Shall not use or unlawfully possess a narcotic drug unless prescribed by a licensed practitioner.

Report all contact with law enforcement to Pretrial Services within 72 hours.

Travel restricted to the Northern District of Georgia and the District of New Jersey unless

otherwise approved by U.S. Probation office.

10. Provide verification of employment to Pretrial Services by Friday, July 21“ at 4:30 p.m.
(letters or emails from employers/ business associates). .

11. Defendant must appear before the Honorable Ann Marie Donio on July 26, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.

The defendant appeared for a Rule-5 In Initial Appearance on July 26, 2023, before the Honorable Sharon
A. King, United States Magistrate Judge and was released on $100,000 unsecured appearance bond. The
following conditions were imposed:

1. Pretrial Services Supervision.

2. Surrender all passports/travel documents. Do not apply for new travel documents.

3. Travel restricted to the continental United States.

4. Refrain from using alcohol excessively.

5. No contact with victims or witnesses including co-defendants except in the presence of counsel.
6. Surrender/do not possess any firearms.

7. No use or possession of narcotic drugs unless prescribed by a licensed practitioner.

8. Do not apply for any new lines of credit without the approval from the Court.

9. Defendant shall report employment to Pretrial Services within 4 days

On April 23, 2024, the defendant appeared before Your Honor for an Initial Appearance and Arraignment
on an indictment. The defendant pled not guilty, and Your Honor ordered the defendant released on the
conditions of release previously ordered by the Court.

On April 24, 2024, Your Honor ordered the defendant to submit verification of employment to Pretrial
Services no later than April 30, 2024. In addition, Defendant having notified the Court that he has retained
private counsel, private counsel shall enter his appearance on the docket no later than May 7, 2024.

On June 13, 2024, Your Honor held a telephone status conference and ordered no later than June 24, 2024,
the defendant shall submit income verification to his supervising officer. Additionally, Your Honor
ordered that no later than June 20, 2024, defendant’s private attorney shall enter his/her appearance on the
docket.

On July 1, 2024, the Honorable Sharon A. King, United States Magistrate Judge supplemented the order
of release requiring the defendant to maintain or actively seek employment.

On March 14, 2024, Honorable Karen M. Williams, United States District Judge executed an Order to
Continue until October 1, 2025. The defendant has no pending hearings before the Court at this time.
